Bibliometric database by Stanford University & Elsevier continues to list McMaster faculty members among the best in their fields


As a result of the collaborative efforts between Stanford University and Elsevier, a database of over 100,000 top scientists across more than 175 sub-fields has been developed and made available to bring clarity and transparency to citation metrics. The database provides standardized citation metrics such as h-index, hm-index, citations to papers ratio, and even provides them in two forms, one including self-citations and one excluding self-citations. From these standardized metrics, a composite score is derived and used to rank each scientist overall and within their top sub-field.
